Youth at the Center – From Emptiness to Opportunities

dal 19 MAG 2026 al 19 MAG 2026  |  Dr.ssa M. Valentini  |  NEWS

We are pleased to invite you to a special event. A moment of genuine exchange about youth, the future, and inclusion — set in a truly unique setting. We will gather at the Satyrus Bar, on Scalea Bruno Zevi, with the majestic National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art before us, created to house the art of its time and built for the International Exhibition of 1911. Its neoclassical elegance presents itself as a place that brings together past, vision, and future. Behind us, the breath of Villa Borghese.

Have you ever looked at a young person and, for a moment, felt excluded from their world? Today’s youth often seem free of difficulties. But beneath the surface, there is sometimes a silent emptiness that no one can see.

📕 “Adolescenti sottovuoto” (Armando Editore) by Emanuele Caroppo and Mariarita Valentini is not just a book presentation. It is a journey into the stories of young people who, above all, need to be seen.

📅 Tuesday, May 19, 2026 — 6:45 PM 📍 Satyrus Bar, Scalea Bruno Zevi — Rome 🎤 Meet the authors and special guests 💬 A dialogue that will make you look at young people — and perhaps at yourself — with new eyes The event is designed for parents, educators, teachers, psychologists, doctors, and social workers — for anyone who works closely with young people. But also for anyone who simply wants to truly understand today’s world.

You can’t afford to miss it. 📩 Write to us to reserve your spot: info@satiscentroclinico.com

The communication that heals – Course with ECM credits

dal 23 MAG 2026 al 23 MAG 2026  |  NEWS

📕 The communication that heals is an ECM-accredited course designed for all healthcare professionals. It will take place on May 23 in Cava De’ Tirreni (Salerno).

In a healthcare context, communication between professional and patient is not just an exchange of clinical information, but a meeting between two emotional dimensions. Every diagnosis, every therapeutic explanation carries expectations, fears, and hopes. For this reason, technical competence must be integrated with emotional intelligence. Managing one’s emotions as professionals means recognizing them without being overwhelmed, while maintaining clarity and presence. At the same time, being able to welcome and validate the patient’s emotions—anxiety, anger, confusion—creates a strong therapeutic alliance and promotes adherence to treatment. Effective communication in healthcare is built on active listening, empathy, and clarity: tools that not only improve clinical outcomes but also restore centrality to the person as a whole. The aim of this course is to provide healthcare professionals with tools to enhance their communication skills, develop relational and emotional competencies, and improve therapeutic alliance, treatment adherence, and emotional management.

BODY, VOICE, EMOTION – A psychology and theatre workshop where you can give voice to your emotions

dal 01 OTT 2025 al 31 MAG 2026  |  Dr.ssa M. Valentini  |  NEWS

The "Body, Voice, Emotion" workshop is an experiential journey designed for those who wish to explore themselves through the expressive and transformative potential of theatre. This course combines tools from humanistic psychology, neuroscience, and neuro-linguistic programming with active theatrical practices to promote self-awareness, authenticity, and emotional well-being.

Through theatrical play, improvisation, and the use of body and voice, each participant will have the opportunity to gain deeper insight into their emotions, improve interpersonal communication, and discover new personal resources. No prior experience in theatre or psychology is required — the course is open to anyone who feels the desire to step out of their comfort zone in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.

Our goal is to provide a safe space to explore one’s inner and relational world, fostering creativity, confidence, and the ability to stay present in the moment.
